Emma and Chris are both Yorkshire born and bred and are keen to be running a bed and breakfast in Scarborough – a much loved holiday destination for them both from an early age. They have great knowledge of Scarborough and surrounding areas and are happy to suggest things to do and places to go during your stay. They are an active and friendly couple who enjoy cooking, cycling, hiking and great coffee!
Emma started out in hospitality whilst in school and worked in various restaurants, pubs and cafes. More recently she was a domestic and food assistant for a luxury retreat in Yorkshire and a resident warden in Cambridge at a language school where she maintained the school’s residence and ensured that the students enjoyed their time in the U.K.
Chris has been involved in hospitality from a young age. He grew up in a pub in Leeds and then went on to manage bars himself. He is a keen cook and loves whipping up breakfasts for guests to ensure they are ready for whatever the day brings.
